Steve Carson has a new post on the adoption of dues for the OpenCourseWare Consortium. From the post:
While we were pleased and grateful to announce the recent charter sustaining member commitments, we recognize that the majority of members are not in a position to make a commitment at this level. The regular dues payments made by the broader membership, however, are equally important to the ongoing sustainability of the organization and we appreciate the financial support for the Consortium.

Mary Lou Forward has a new post requesting feedback on the OpenCourseWare Consortium’s business and strategic plans. From the post:
The business plan for fiscal year 2011 is due for submission to the Board of Directors in May. We are holding an on-line discussion from March 23-April 16 to gather input from the community for the drafting of this plan.

Steve Carson has posted two documents relating to the future of the OpenCourseWare Consortium. From the post:
The Consortium develops and maintains two key planning documents, a strategic plan and a business plan. New strategic and business plans are due to be drafted in the coming months, and I am happy to invite the community to share in the development of these documents.
The post comes shortly after David Wiley’s continuing questions about the value the consortium provides the field and its members.
